looking to take my duratec's mechanical fan off, i know the 3.0 and 4.0 each have a different thread direction to take the fan off. seems alot of info for taking their fans off and nothing for the duratec.

do you rotate a duratecs fan counter or clockwise for removal?

do i need to remove the pulley and belt or can i manage with just pulling the shroud?

thanks in advance

If the fan pulley is driven by the inside of the belt (grooved side) the fan should be left hand thread. If the fan pulley is driven by the outside of the belt (flat side) the fan should be right hand or normal thread.
