As stated the signs get removed by people. Its offlimits as far as I know but that never stops us lol I would just rather not hangout there for a long period of time cooking and eating.Really? I've always been under the impression it was ok to be there, obviously not wheeling though. I've never seen any signs saying otherwise, most places that are off limits are clearly marked, like hidden lakes for example it has signs around in every direction. I'm not arguing what you said, just kind of surprised actually. Everytime Wharton gets brought up I hear something different on what is ok and what isn't. It's something I'd really like to get to the bottom of, I prefer to keep it legal.
There are no rangers stationed there, it hasnt been a ranger station for about 100 years stop in sometime they'll tell you. Its just a spot to get ur camping site info setup now.personally im not meeting at a ranger station, ive never been one for littering, i dont drink in the woods, but ive had too many bad encounters with rangers.... owning trucks that are bigger then legal tends to be not alot of fun with them.
we could meet up at the woodshed, and go from there, id rather go in on that side anyways then the 206 side
What time? FB says 11 this thread says 1030? Us Jeep guys will be there to recover the Fords that get stuck
