Those 4 door Rangers look awesome. The fender emblem looks pretty interesting. I wish it was easier to import them into the US

Well you always buy a new Mexican cab & bed and mount on a Ranger frame.

The problem with the Mexican Ranger bodies is that the A-pillar isn't strong enough to be brought into the US

There has to be a way to get those into the US. I bet it's just a pain in the dick. If I can take a bunch of fiberglass resin, plywood, and some steel and build a street legal t-bucket roadster, there has to be a way to import a damn Ranger.

There is a way to do it, but you are right, it is a pain in the dick, and like most of us (and I know I've heard this on TRS before) I hate dick pain. Reinforce the A-pillars and get it up to code, you still have to drop an American drive-line and electronics in it to pass emissions.

All in all, its gonna be easier to put the suicide doors on my 87.

Hah, yeah we have those in the states too. they just have IRS, an available V-8 and are called Sport Tracks. Darn things are about as worthless as you can get too, limited passenger space and no cargo space worth mentioning.

4 door ranger prolly has a solid rear and looks to have another foot on the bed. 4 ft bed might actually be used for something, unlike the 3 footer on the ST.

The Sport Trac has a 4 ft bed....50 inches to be exact. So what if it has IRS? It still has a 1,350 lb payload capacity AND it has the better ride quality.
So I ask again....what advantage does the 4 door Ranger have over the Sport Trac?

Keep in mind whether or not anyone agrees with me, this is exactly why we'll never get the 4 door Ranger as long as the Sport Trac is around. So don't hold your breath waiting for Ford to produce it here.

The Mexican Ranger is just like the Mexican Coke, real four-door sugar unlike the suicide door high fructose corn syrup we get here.

C'mon Ford, don't you know that sitting in those jump seats is bad for you long-term? And your Explorer Sport Trac New Coke is too sweet and not enough substance.

I live in Albuquerque, I can have my Mexican Coke. Now why can't I have my Mexican Ranger?

You could defnitely get a Mexican body into the US, good luck registering it legally though... You won't be able to unless it's 25 years old, or you swap VINs...

Actually I think he just extended a regular cab ranger. Either way you slice it though it came out bad ass
