Is it possible to put a grill and head light assembly from a 1st gen Ranger on to a 93 Explorer ?

It is possible to put the newer grill on the older trucks, and I've the older grill put on newer trucks, but I'm not sure about Explorers. I think this was discussed a little while ago and one member noted that there is a slightly different shape to fenders, so they may not line up right.

It would be pretty cool though.

it was discussed not to long ago, and the out come was explorer is couple inches wider and the body lines of the fender dont line up.
but ya would look good probably just widen the grill some how, and smooth the lines out on the fenders

you would need to graft the rear of the ploder fender to the front of the ranger's(prolly the fastest way to get the gaps right).

like rick said, it would take cutting and welding. You'd have to put the front of the Ranger fenders onto the explorer fenders.

Thank you all for your replies. I have an 86 Ranger im parting out, and I really like that style front end. So I have the fenders and grill to make it happen. I know some good welders, but might look into the fiber glass route.
