Traded my 96 gmc 1500 4x4 with a 5.7 vortec and only 116k miles even for a 2004 ford ranger edge with only 105k miles on it and a 3.0 paired up with an automatic.

I am stunned how clean that GMC is... most of those have been beat within an inch of their life up here.

Same as here, or modded with so much junk its falling apart because of it.

Good looking ranger, bet you'll pull off better number then with the 4.0L hopefully

Yep was owned by a rich old man and he gave it to his son when he moved from Pennsylvania to Florida. He only used it to tow his jet ski's down to Virginia in the summer time. I picked that truck up for $2,800 about 4 months ago. Put a brand new A/C system in it myself and threw some dual exhaust on it. Kid wanted to trade me this ranger so I jumped on it. I loved the GMC but i'm a ford man hands down. And the ranger is 2wd which is the only down side but it is really clean. I'm done with the whole mudding scene for now. Gonna save my money for a fourwheeler. And i'm gonna save alot of money in gas compared to 12 mpg in the V8 beast haha.

my grandpa has a 1996 chevy truck ordered new with the 454 in it. just to pull the fifth wheel travel trailer that he used to own. he traded that in for a rv and still has the truck. it looks like it is still in show room shape
