I had to say goodbye to my 93 ranger, with knee pain it was hard to shift. so i sold it to one of my son's friends last year. this winter he rolled it. He hit some black ice and spun around, flipped it into a ditch and hit a tree. He came away with a few scrapes and bruises. the truck did not fare so well. I had told him when he bought it that i wanted first shot at buying this back when he was ready to upgrade. now, goodbye for ever.

That is too bad, it looks like it was a nice truck. Did its job of protecting occupants well though.

Never had to and I hope I never do but I wonder if it would be easier to say goodbye to a wreck than a good truck.

Ouch. Glad he walked away.

85, IMO, it's far easier to say good bye to a good truck/car than a wreck. I totaled my first nice car being 21 and dumb and I still hate myself for it 8 years later. What I would give to have it back.

I have sold one vehicle, it took the moron that bought it a month to rear end a pickup with it and totally crunch the hood and then he beat the crap out of it for 4 more months before it disappeared for good. :bawling:

So I may be kind of biased...

Yeouch. That looked like it used to be a nice clean truck too. There really isn't much left...

It was a good running truck. Had the 4.0 OHV 5 speed. Manual locking hubs. I was the only one that would drive it because of the 5 speed. I got it from my father in law for 500 bucks and put a lot of money into it. He did nothing to it in the 5 years he had it but drive it and put gas in it. Never changed the oil!!! I had her purring like a kitten. I went to look at it and there was not a single body panel that didnt have a dent in it. I told him the engine may be good and someone would probably want it but he sent it all to scrap.

This is what she looked like the day I put her up for sale:
