I have an 88 eddie bauer and was wondering if a headlight wiring harness off of a 86 eddie bauer will work for it?

FREE is good...
the LMC one is a bypass of the original and is for heavy duty, puts a relay on it. i had to use it b/c the aftermarket headlights were melting my dimmer switch

no kidding. wkat was the wattage for your lights? the reason I ask is on the 88 i bought it from a friend who had just aquired a junk yard and it was in there. the harness had a melted wire within in it including the fusable link which someone at some point jumped with som alligator clips. I wonder if that was the problem in the first place.
