Found this used 4" suspension lift on CL. He said it'll fit 1997 and older rangers. He does not know the brand. It came off one of his parts trucks. Looks like all I'll need is shocks. Can you identify the brand and anything else I may need? And other help about it would be greatly appreciated.

My credo
it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
looks like an old school sky plate drop class 1. old old.

i have seen rc/tc though with the twin holes and same design radius arm drops but had a square support under the enginne k and tc square on the rad drps.

the old old rancho i worked on had a lil more support on radius drops.

its a differential killer if you plan severe use.....upgrade with a later model passenger beam bracket instead of the pate drop....if its a lighter use it will work fine.

Thats all? What would that cost? I wasn't planning on lifting anytime soon but I saw this deal and thought I better look into it. If I know it could be a problem I'll stick with light wheeling till I updrade. Is that the only problem with them?

Thanks a ton. He wants 150 for it.

I see thick short add-a-leafs in those rear springs, and the coils look to be made with 9 turns of a rather thick wire... I'd be sure to have a mouthguard in place to keep your teeth in and a kidney belt on if you plan to drive your truck with that lift.

As for make... Traildisaster maybe? (a.k.a.trailmaster) I seem to recall they had the orangeish-red springs like that and I think the support brace on the drop plate extension as well.

Thanks for the help fellas. I decided to pass on the lift... And the guy quit communicating with me... I'll just save my money and run with a leveling kit and 31"s till I can buy a brand new lift.
