Help please! 5.0 swap wiring harness question.

Hey!

In the middle of my 5.0 swap. Should i keep the Ranger wiring harness for the engine compartment or use Explorer engine bay harness.

96 Ranger 2.3 to 98 Expo 5.0.

I have the complete engine harness, engine bay harness, and the dash harness ( for all of the PATS wiring).

Should i keep the ranger engine bay harness and graft the necessary accessory circuits from the Expo harness? Or do I use the Expo harness and then pin out the body harness to match them up?

Any and all help greatly appreciated!!

2.3 to 5.0 harness

I Recently completed a 2.3 to 96 explorer 5.0 swap. Use the 5.0 engine harness along with the 5.0 P.C.M.

I thiik someone used a '97' ECU in similar conditions and thus did away with the PAT's issue. Still have to do some splicing under the hood.

I also just started a simalar swap 1998 explorer 5.0 into a 97 ranger 2.3.Everything is bolted in and I'm about to start wiring it all up. My question is, did deankelly ever figure out which wires and pins to move on either the ranger harness or the explorer harness?

I have the complete explorer harness and everything from my 2.3 still. I've been searching for some pointers on wiring but all I keep finding are 98 and up ranger swaps and carbed setups.
