Hey guys,
I am no expert but it seems quite simple to start with a 3" body lift to solve the clearance problems. Than taking a donor f150 with a 302, aod and electric shift transfer case (to match what's already there) and sliding all pieces in my B2. Assuming I started with a good 302, aod and transfer case what problems do you guys see me running into?

With a body lift you shouldn't have manny probs. The only thing is the upper inake on the 150 motor is tall and hangs over the r/h valve cover. So If you'r BII has A/C the case and the upper will cause problems. have fun with the build:icon_thumby:

you will need to bias the t case over to clear the rail. this can be minimized by trimming the frame or rolling the lip of the frame a bit to fit the case. you will want to position the drive train before you plot the holes for the mounts for best results.

A lot of people curse the reliablity of the electric t-case in both RBV's and F-150's.

Lets see, issues off the top of my head from fitting my f150 drivetrain:
-Tcase to frame clearance as mentioned. easy fix with a grinder
-Intake is too tall as mentioned
-Front dress from the f150 may not clear your radiator...Something from a stang would give you more accessory to radiator clearance

yes yes yes.

radiator get many.

i make room up front. many dont...they try to work with stock bolt in stuff....

i wont even work on 4x4 swaps with that limitation anymore. cut cut cut.

make room, increase size of radiator, improve flow. usually theres a big bumper and winch hindering it so its necessary

Agreed! Its not that much more work to take a grinder to the header panel. Look at it as weight reduction:icon_twisted:
