So if I hold the pulley in place i should be able to loosen it?You are trying to remove the fan clutch
2.9l should be Left handed threads so opposite direction of "normal" threads
Need to put wrench on the nut then hold the pulleys(strap wrench?) and turn the wrench clockwise looking at the front of fan, so opposite direction to loosen it that "normal" nut
I know I’ve tried to find a new one but I can’t find anywhere that sells emBe a good time to replace that cracked fan.
I believe (but can't swear in court) that you can use a fan for a 3.0 truck in your application. They're definitely both left hand thread, and some of the parts listings indicate it as a superceding part for yours.I know I’ve tried to find a new one but I can’t find anywhere that sells em
If you're like me, swearing in court won't clear you. Whenever I work on a fan, I always end up leaving plenty of DNA evidence.I believe (but can't swear in court) that you can use a fan for a 3.0 truck in your application.
