I have 1994 long bed std cab ranger 4x4. How much lift will I get using a 1 3/4" block, chevy 1500 leaf springs without the overload, and a belltech 6400 shackle? I am trying to use a 4 or 6" kit, but I don't want to use a 4" or 6" block in the rear so Im trying to even out the back with a better rear suspension.

I've got a 91 extended cab, stock 2" block, 63" chevy leafs with overload removed (3 leafs) and an extended shackle the same length as the belltechs.

It netted me right around the 6" mark.

IMO any block over 2 inches isnt safe but you will get 4 inch from the chevy leafs and if you get shackles you can get 6 with the shackles and chevy leafs and use the stock ranger block

My factory block measured 2.5" I just don't like the look of the lift blocks, I have belltech shackles and I am going to look for chevy leaf springs to put under her, My new blocks are only 1.75 tall, but made out of solid steel, instead of that hollow crap or aluminum.

well I don't think the chevy swap will work with my truck, on my long box standard cab model if I move the spring hanger forward 6 inches, the bottom front hole ends up being 1/2" away from a predrilled oval in the frame that is about 1" tall and 1/2" wide...what should I do about that? how much lift would I expect out of an explorer pack, the belltech and a 1 3/4" block?
