MAF(mass air flow) sensor can cause many issues from missing at idle to bogging at speed

http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/CleanMAF.html

Fuel injector could cause a steady miss just not that likely, random missing could be dirty injectors.
If you have a steady miss see if you can id the cylinder by pulling plug wires with engine at idle, if you pull a wire and engine doesn't miss more then that's the cylinder.
Then swap injectors with a working cylinder and see if miss follows the injector.

A compression test would help ID the problem.

Thanks Ron been a while since I worked on my truck. I've had one problem that stalled me my computer went bad but truck is still running bad I've narrowed it down to o2 sensor and mass air I'm leaning toward mass air only because it drives real smooth in cooler days. Any way to check if it's going bad not to good with volt meter

MAF cleaning and test info here:

Same as posted above, voltage test

'93 Ranger 3.0l will also have a separate IAT(intake air temp) sensor, this plays a part in fuel mix because cooler air is denser, so requires more fuel than warmer air.

I think it would be on the air cleaner housing, two wire sensor, but could be on the upper intake manifold.
Ford moved these around until the IAT and MAF were combined into one unit, the 6 wire MAF sensor.

Can be tested with ohm meter, ohms should change when temp goes up and down, so compressed air(cold) and blow drier(warm) could be used to test.

Check the underside of the hose that attaches to the intake manifold...the one that runs from the air box and the MAF. Mine was rotted through underneath but you couldn't see it...made it run funky and lopey at idle, plus eat more gas. New hose and its smooth as a baby's bum.
