i have been fighting this truck for to long!!!! it started on the way to work was running fine. when i got off i made it about a mile down the road and it started running rough and then cut out completly. i have changed the fuel filter and that helped but didnt fix it. it seems like a random missfire but i have spark at the coils and at the plugs. i have also cleaned the maf. i was thinking cloged cats because once the truck warmed up it wouldnt restart untill it had cooled off (got stuck at the gas pump because of that but it restarted fine after 20 min) droped the cats and again helped but didnt fix it bascially the motor is just stumbling now im offically lost any suggestions would be great sorry for the long post.

ps its a 94 4.o ranger 5spd

Any check engine light? I'd pick up a multimeter and take a look at the maf and tps to make sure they are functioning right. Make sure your crank and cam sensors are working properly too. crank sensor should read about ~.460 ohm. Maybe a vacuum leak.

Check the fuel pressure as well.
