i took the drivers side door off my ranger and the little door buzzer/dome light switch wires came off. well i cant seem to find the wires inside the fender between all the insulation. since then my radio doesnt work, and neither does the dome light.. even when i turn the light switch to the left where it would normally work.. now im stumped. i cant figure out whats wrong with it for the life of me.. is there a way to get inside that little space where the wires are? its the spot between the fender and the engine space and it seems to be filled with insulation materials.

Something probably took out a fuse. Did you look at those yet? You may have the cut wire shorting against the body of the truck. That will take the fuse out again it it is the problem.

It's also possible that you can't find the wires in the fender well because it is in the cab. That of course depends on the Ranger in question since you didn't specify.
