The guy does really good work. Check out what others want for a "clapped out" Ranger of that year with any wimpy motor is selling for.

Did anyone notice this: The front u-joints have recently started making some noise on occasion. Since all other Rangers are 4x4 and not AWD their front differentials will have very little mileage on them. I'd just grab another front diff from a junk yard and swap it in. I wouldn't even bother with changing out the front u-joints.

WTF? Change out the entire diff instead of u-joints.

It may have something do to with this: If for what ever reason you wish to be in 2x4 mode you can unlock the manual warn hubs up front and only the rear wheels will have power to them.

If you did that, it wouldn't move until you locked it in 4wd. In AWD it would spin the tcase's diffrential.
