Here's a nice update for you guys. The other day my heater hose blew i had seen its poor condition before and was expecting it.Now when i got the truck
o was told it had overheating problems and what not,so i figured id change both heater hoses and the t-stat its cheap enough.I dropped the bottom rad hose to drain the rad due to the brown water.Put it all back together with new parts and green coolant. It turns out that there was 180deg t-stat to begin with my parts rep said the recomended t-stat was 195deg so i went with that.Well low and behold the truck now runs ten times better, like night and day before it was slow and gutless and swallowing my gas.Now it shifts better drives runs idles everything.
its amazing the difference it can make.
hope fully this feed back will help some of you guys out there.
happy wheelin:yahoo:
