Bang...Bang...Bang

That's the sound my truck makes, when I do a full throttle acceleration. Each time I shift, it does this(but only when warmed up).

Sequence of events:

Accelerate
Push in clutch
Let off gas
Shift
Release clutch
Back in gas
BANG!

I did manage to confirm that it is when I push in the gas again, that this occurs. So obviously the truck is not mixing the air/fuel properly. How many sensors can cause it to do this?

Definetaly not mixing air/fuel properly... and this is on the '87 2.3 EFI. And what is the sensor in the intake manifold, directly behind the alternator and above the distributor?
