Is that a yamaha big wheel I spy on the the right? Or is it something else?
Nah, man. That's a small trailer. I love the Ranger with the goose-plate in it.I did this just to move it one time. I have a dodge 2500 cummins, and a 79 f150 with a modded 400 and a C6 that I normally would use.
Holy home on the range batman! And I thought bringing a few MRE's was living large.

Add 'A LOT of Gas'. The Hemi drinks fuel like a Russian drinks Vodka when that rig is fully loaded! But, it is fun! That looks like "just add gas and hills fun"!
I dunno, man. I think you could do it. Build the camper from plans, and use a 31-spline Explorer axle in the Ranger.Unfortunately the Ranger is too small to haul a bed camper AND a JEEP!
I agree... a 1/4 ton truck has no reason to be hauling that much.Well, 1) it wouldn't have the space or the comfort of the bigger camper, and 2) that jeep isn't too light. I seriously doubt the 4.0L would be able to haul both the camper and the Jeep in the mountains and still keep up with traffic. As it is, the HEMI is an admirable companion in such a situation, and I wouldn't really wish for anything less.
My Ranger is a great little truck, and I work it hard at times, but a heavy hauler it is not.
