So I have been shopping for fog/driving lights for quite a while. And a few days ago I stumbled upon the hella optilux 2020. They look like they are very solid. And they are Hella so......I was just wondering if anyone has bought them or heard anything about them.

They are about 80 bucks shipped. I'm really leaning towards them because they have both a fog light and a driving light combined together. I'm about 90% sure they are what im getting. but i wanted to get some feed back

ive been debating whether or not to get a set of these for a long time now. i was planning on mounting them on my red escort (yellow headlight lens syndrome...BAD). i was going to hook the fog light bulbs up to a 12v keyed source (always on with ignition, like a driving light). and replace the 55watt driving light bulbs with 100watters and hook them to the high beams only.

only thing thats stopping me is i dont know how well those small housings will take 100watts of heat.

if you do get a set, let me know how high of quality they seem to be and how the light pattern is.
