Hey guys! Since this is where you go to introduce yourself, i'll begin.
I'm a Texas native currently living in San Diego, California.
I enlisted in 2007 and have been living the life of a Sailor since then.
Uncle Sam kicked me some incentive money in 2014, so I shopped around for a little 5speed 4x4 I could call me own, with little success. Every time I believed the chosen one had been found, it either turned out to be a phantom, junker, or someone beat me to it. Finally I broadened my horizons and started looking at 2x4 pickups as well, thats when I stumbled across my little '02 with 35k miles. I snatched it up for 7k and have been trolling around various ranger forums for a little over a year now (the thermostat was broken at purchase, a fact not realized until the weather chilled)
I aim to try my hand at building a 2wd Prerunner once I return from deployment and fix the two (I hope) remaining issues i have.
Anyway, it's nice to finally sign up and get in here. Cheers!
