I'm doing an Explorer seat swap, and I'm trying to get rid of the sliding rail on the Explorer seat and mount the Ranger buckle and pretensioner directly to the Explorer seat, mostly because the sliding rails that came with my Explorer seats are mangled and unusable, but also to keep the bits and pieces tucked closer to the seat and out of the way. I'm specifically trying to understand how the Ranger buckle + pretensioner ends up mounted to the Explorer seat before I start drilling - I don't want to mess up a getting-harder-to-find good set of Explorer seats.
I found an old thread describing what I'm trying to do, but all of the pictures are long gone from that thread. https://www.therangerstation.com/forums/index.php?threads/how-to-explorer-limited-seats-into-01-ranger.135370/
Does anyone have pictures of mounting the buckle this way, or possibly even pictures from that old thread stashed away somewhere? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
