Hello all,
Progress was good today. The starting, charging circuits, cruise control, and AC circuits have been grafted from the expo to the ranger. Got the engine to turn over. Tomorrow, the instrument cluster and AC controls get hooked up. Brings me to my questions.
1. Driveshaft, the one from the ranger is now 2 inches too long (96 2.3, 2wd with a swing bearing) now that i have put the expo spline drive on the ranger shaft.
Any ideas what drive shaft i can use? One piece preferred, two piece will work. Expo shaft is too short.
Tomorrow it should start for the first time. Then i need to try again to put the down tubes on the headers. Did not work out the last time i tried. Some bending and hammering may be in order.
Any thoughts and ideas will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dean
