Picture this (haha, and I'll probably never build it, but I'd like to):
87 2.9l with e-fan, intake, ported and polished manifolds and some other performance improvements (will it bolt up to a newer 5-speed?) and an 83-87 red dash board with some mods -
1) vents that clear the door windows
2) mate an 87 vinyl dash pad up to the 07 black plastic windshield defrost vent piece
3) digital gauge faces, mainly looking like the original 87 Ford gauges, but can be tuned, edited, etc. and program a tach in and have it display over the 4 gauge cluster.
4) older looking radio, with knobs, like on the 83-84 rangers, but with a digital display between the knobs (a common GPS screen should fit almost perfect)
5) make a real wood dash bezel and make it fit more precise than the originals did
6) 12 volt outlet in the top glove compartment
red fx4 seats, red interior panels power windows, locks, mirrors, c/c, tilt wheel, a/c
In a 2007 xlt supercab, 2wd, grey with a red painted on pinstripe in the body line, 7-spoke chrome rims (or custom aluminum rims, that look like the black and silver xlt steelies from the 80's), chrome exterior door handles and mirror caps, 83-87 'Ranger xlt' emblems, rear sliding window, cargo light, stainless tailgate panel like the 83-88 Rangers had
