Home, at last.

Next time, I'm going to ride naked and grease the seat and my butt to prevent chafing.

Please explain. Did he cross water and suck in water? Did he remove the plugs, turn the engine over, and clean the water out??
Went through deep water and ingested it. Removed plugs and got the water out.actually had it running enough to get out of the park. But it was running very poorly. Milkshake oil. He changed the oil and had new distributor cap and tfi module. But it wouldn't start again. Justin may have more details.

They pulled the plugs, and got it running. He held if at "like three grand trying to clear it out and it bogged out and died"

Then they threw the module, cap and oil change at it and it still wouldnt start.

His dad had a spark tester and he said they confirmed even with a new tfi module and whatever it had no spark.

When they were cranking it as I was cooking supper it sounded decent enough it should have tried to say something if it had fuel/fire.

I mean, yeah, only God knows what all was in his oil... but with enough blow by to push the dipstick out and spray the manifold with oil my old 2.8 still fired right up.

I wasn't expecting them to tow it at 1030 that night, I was planning on bugging then yesterday morning in the daylight if they didnt get it going. Even then though... I only had a 3/8" socket set, my leatherman and a air compressor with for tools. I load for bear with my ranger but not much of that crosses over to the coil on plug bronco and we are super night on room.

My tools consisted of whatever metric wrenches, metric Allen's, tire changing tools, tube patching tools, would fit in a 2 1/2" x 12" plastic tube. Plus a digital multimeter and roll of electrical tape. I, too, was surprised to see the rollback that night. Maybe they live close and are personal friends with the rollback owner.

Too much to see in half a day. Lots of cool stuff. Needs to be a TRS spring event with time to explore SMORR

I felt bad, we were there two half days and didn't know there was a motorcycle/atv building until half an hour before it was over.

IDK. Could be a possibility.

I would rather go to Overland Expo West, but I realize that's to far for most of you. I've debated going this year but I'm trying to save some money and get some work done on my building.

Overland Expo West:

30,000+ attendees.
417 registered exhibitors
136 presenters, trainers, and VIPs
448+ classes, seminars, demos, activities, slideshows, and films; totaling 509+ session hours of instruction
Domestic attendees descended on Flagstaff from 45 states coast to coast.
International attendees visited from Great Britain, Australia, Czech Republic, Canada, Mexico, and Peru.
