Here it is! 2023 Big Bend.. with the correct number of doors 😉 2.3l & 10spd.

Beyond elated at the moment. While the big bend isn't exactly "loaded" it does have more nice touches than the XL Ranger...

-"Full size" radio screen
-Auto/dual zone climate control
-Heated front seats
-Shift-knob and steering wheel covered with what used to be a sentient being
-Heated side mirrors
-More USB ports (that hopefully provide more amps than the ones in the ranger )
-110v outlet
-Terrain modes
-Way cooler looking instrument cluster

-AND JUST LOOK AT THE THING!

I'm not extremely hot on the blue to be honest.. but at least it's not RED (Sorry @RonD ) my first ranger was a darker blue.. and I learned to love it.. so I'm not worried. I'm just happy that I could aquire a 2 door without needing to spend 45k on a used base model from carmax/carvana.

Msrp just a hair over 43k.. with 3k ADM. The ADM doesn't bother me, as I said.. I was prepared to spend just as much money on a used base model so.. got a lot more for my money this way.

Ditched the stock wheels/tires for the set I had on my Ranger immideately once I got home.

2" lift and a muffler delete will be on their way soon.. 35"s will be after that.

Oh.. and removing those stupid side steps -__-

Toonces drives a Ranger . . . . just not very well.
Congratulations! I like that blue.

Leave the side steps; just go to the Dollar Store and get a pair of snazzy looking "Welcome" mats to put on 'em.

You are a great disappointment to your mother and I.

50% of that is new info and makes me a sad panda 🐼 😢 lol

I would of liked the manual honestly, but seems like all the new bronco forums are filled with threads about 7spd issues.. didn't want to take the chance.. even with a warranty.

I like the blue.
Blue is a good color, beats the hell out of 50 shades of grey.

The blue is quickly growing on me. Much would of preferred cyber orange.. but they dropped that color for '23.

Sounds like what you really wanted was a Subaru.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

Hank Kimball had a Bronco.

Been there.. done that.. no thanks lol. No more turbo subies for daily drivers.

This things likely quicker than a stock wrx too so 😋

Yes, 3 piece top. Over the drivers seat pops right off, then the passenger side pops off, then the rest of it gets unbolted to remove.

I'll post some more/better pictures once I'm out of work.

Kimball's was a '66 the windshield folded down.
Kind of a pos compared to new ones but I bet they were simple as a tinker toy. worth a lot now for a nice one.

I wouldn't mind a Bronco but it'd have to be an old one. Don't know what years are good, there was one down the street I forget year it was pretty beat looking though.

1990 Ford Bronco | eBay at current price seems decent

If I were to buy a brand new truck, this would be the one. it's radically different from all the rest out there. A new true blue lightweight truck worthy of its name.
