Hello i just registered here in hopes of finding assistance, i just bout a 1988 Ranger XLT v6 5 speed, and when i pull the headlight switch one click it turns on all the parking lights, like usual, but when i pull it all the way out the headlights come on but all other exterior lights turn off, i haven't tried anything but i heard that it is most likely the switch. i'm wondering if there is a simple fix to this issue ie: a fuse, a sticky switch, ect. thank you

thanks, i thought it was a bad switch too but i just went out and pulled the leaver in and out a couple ties and they all turned on like they were supposed to, since it isn't ready for driving (smog and tabs) i can investigate a little more while i do some engine work the switch may still be going out but as long as it works enough to be "legal" i'm happy... it was a $900 truck so it wouldnt surprise me.
