The 2.9L's were random on the M5OD even until '92 back in the day there was talk about until the very end you didn't know until you looked at the trans... the Lima's '88 on were M5OD, all 3.0L and 4.0L are M5OD but you never knew on the 2.9...

The 2.9L's were random on the M5OD even until '92 back in the day there was talk about until the very end you didn't know until you looked at the trans... the Lima's '88 on were M5OD, all 3.0L and 4.0L are M5OD but you never knew on the 2.9...
This one might be a non starter too...never heard back from him all day.

Ok guys one more then im done. Its to damn stressful trying to find a 40 year old vehicle anymore....

86 Bronco II. 2.9/5sp. Manual T case, Lock out hubs. Said it did run and drive but now "oil is getting on the plugs and it begins to missfire"....but its not fouling the plugs....he said they look good. He has a picture with compression numbers posted and they range from 115-130 which is pretty decent. So i dont think its blowby.

Anyways....i might go look at it saturday.
