I'm working on my Ranger today. Putting on new rotors, pads, wheel bearings, radius arm bushings, etc.

When I removed the axle pivot bolts one of the axle pivot bushings was really chewed up! I ended up getting it off by pounding it out with a hammer. There's a metal sleeve inside and outside of the bushing.

Do I need to remove one or both of these sleeves? Thanks

My credo
it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
they should have both available...usually its complete with both sleeves and you stake em once in place.

Thanks Bobby!

I just got back from AutoZone and they gave me replacement brake pads, but they did'nt have the pivot bushings at that store so I'm off to another AutoZone to buy them. I think I'm just going to rent the tool to install them properly too, you know?

Thanks again.
