need help! changing front brakewear for 1st time...

:dunno::dunno:hey fellas, ive changed calipers and rotors before just not like this. i bought a haynes manual but it dont tell me jack. all it says,2 remove the caliper, is somethin about squeezing something with pliers and beat apin out with a punch...? i mean, what pin? no pictures. anyone got somemore "indepth" info or better yet, a link to an exploded-view?,by the way this is the same truck i have listed. over to the left

<> If your '94 is the same as my '91 there will be a pin that will look similar [looking edge on and it is filled with rubber] to the brackets at the beginning of this sentence. I've been able to remove these pins with just a medium sized flat screwdriver. The pin has protrusions that catch on the caliper. Tap both edges of the pin in so the protrusions don't catch and then finish pounding the pin through to remove the caliper.

yeah that helped. also i got the parts and yeah there the same. but if u kno off the top of your head, which side of the pin goes against the caliper? the wider gapped side of the pin or narrower side? if you dont know im sure ill see when i take the wheel off.
