Hey everyone..recently inherited a 2002 Ranger XLT 4x4 Stepside - Off Road Edition. 4.0L.
My mechanical experience includes vintage triumph motorcycle repair and restoration...and air cooled vw repair and restoration.
The Ranger is in good shape but it does have some issues. Mechanically and cosmetically its good to very good but again it has its issues.
#1 on my list is HOW DO YOU GET THOSE REAR DOORS TO OPEN!!
It feels as if the top latch opens but the bottom latch is seized. I have looked for a fix but i am not sure what is the best course of action (remove the door panels?? not sure how with the doors closed? picts? tutorial?)
Anyways...good to be here..drinks all around..happy new year..etc etc etc
