I'm needing to replace the inverted stock leaf springs on my 89 BII and would like to use the leafs out of an Explorer to get an 1" or so of additional lift. Asking for a little advise here...should I just go with a used leaf pack out of the junk yard or spend the extra money and get some new leafs from LMC or someone similar?
I figure with used leafs theres a chance they could have been abused and of course with new leafs they cost quite a bit more. Your thoughts.
Still running stock suspension so just looking to get a little extra height.
