no heat until moving?

My truck recently starting not blowing air until im moving. it warms up just fine it just doesnt move air on any setting or speed.

dont think so, i guess i never really thought to listen as i usually have my music on. after some digging it seems like i should check to blower motor first?

that's what i'd guess.. b/c if you're moving it'll push some heat thru without the fan on at all

ill have to find some time to check that out then, thanks.
it is most likely the blower fuse or relay. check them first if they are fine it is probably the switch or the blower itself..you can test for power at the blower wire the blower directly to 12 volts....all in all it should be an easy fix

you don't know if your heater fan works because your music is on............Bring the Truck to a Mechanic before someone gets hurt...

forgot to update this, the blower motor was junk. dropped a new one in and enjoyed having heat again.

:shok: You must have a exteremely powerful car audio setup if you can't tell whether air is blowing out the vents.

i knew the motor wasnt coming on and pushing air, i just didnt know what was causing the issue, the motor itself, the switch, relay etc. i mainly wanted to know if there was a common issue that i should check first. the blower motor never made a lot of noise before it quit so i never really heard it, especially if music was on.
