i'm looking for a replacement column for my 1983. here is what i found... 1983 thru 1988 will swap. 1989 thru 1995 (i think) will swap. double check this at the LMC website. i get their catalog and use that for parts swapping info. good luck.

the LMC catalog doesn't list the wheel part numbers for the '83-88's, just the one for your '91. can't match them up with LMC. you could just pull it and try it out. sorry i couldn't help you more.

Unless I'm mistaken the diameter of the slip rings for the horn/cruise
contacts on the back side of the wheel are different diameters on the
1989-94 column versus the '85-88 column.

(the 1983-84 column had a silly system where you pressed IN on the
directional switch to trigger the horn)

why don't you want a tilt wheel? it's an easy swap and can be kinda nice.

i dont know, but for a small guy like me, where the wheel is on a tilt column in first/ second gen is perfect for me. i currently have a 2nd gen non tilt column in my 87.
