My daughter and her boyfreind showed up this evening driving an '04 Wrangler with lots of bells and whistles, a hard top, and 33' tires on aluminum wheels. Cost her 19.5K. I still like my Ranger better.:3gears:

I bet she's not gonna wheel it, is she?

Eh, I wouldn't wheel something that cost me $19,500. That's why I have my truck.

I'd have to wheel it! :)

BTW, those are notorious for tearing the track bar mount off the axles especially if they are lifted and/or wheeled hard. Seen soo many of em this last spring on the side of the Rubicon Trail with bent track bars...but mostly with the mounting brackets ripped off the axle and/or frame....poor bastids. Was easily six or seven just on the last half of the trail. They all looked like the were not having fun and most of em had no welder or spares.

I looked into getting one, it would be fun to have one just to rip around town and deal with snow. Then I realized they had little depreciation and got a F-150 for about the same money...

Is it a Rubicon? If so I would say congrats.

And yes, both Wranglers and Cherokees could use some gusseting on the track bar mounts. On the Jeeps I have had I ground them down and welded supporting gussets on them. All you really need to do is smooth them out from things that can catch them and support them to keep strength.

Not a Rubicon. No lables, just Wrangler. The only thing unique about it is the AR wide aluminum wheels with 33X12.5/15 tires. Only has 11k miles on it. 4.0 with Automatic. Yeah, it's gonna be an asphalt 4 wheeler.
