Thought Id share my current dealings with onlinetire.com.
I ordered some Toyo F4's for my ranger to go on the 17" mustang Boyd's I bought last year. I ordered on the 30th. on the 4th I called them because the money had been taken out on the 30th but no conformation email of shipping. I called online and asked them what was up was told that the tires I had ordered where not in stock and could not be located at any of their suppliers and the salesman forgot to LMK with an email.
SOOOOO we talked and changed the order to 4 Hankook H405's there was a small up charge so I told them to send me a paypal invoice to pay. I received the paypal invoice and paid it then went to bed. The next morning there was another invoice and the first had not been accepted. I canceled the new one and stopped payment on the first one then resubmitted the payment and it was accepted.
Today there was still no email about shipping my tires so I called again today the phones went to mailboxes that where full so I called the corporate headquarters and got a hold of a nice receptionist who personally walked my order number and info across the street to the manager of onlinetires. I received a call back from the manager about 5 minutes later and told me that by tomorrow morning shipping info should be in my in box as the tires went out today. We will see.
The prices are great very low and they have been in business along time but it appears to me that they have grown to fast and do not have the manpower to keep up with orders and even the phones. The manager told me that the mailboxes by noon are already full and they do not have time till the end of the day to respond to them.
I should have the tires in a few days which is good but the experience has not been stellar. From what I can tell they have one salesperson, one assistant and a manager that try to process a ton of orders each day.
