Hi all,
I was getting into my truck the other day and noticed that the plastic peice between the tubes of my '89's rear bumper had broken and the license plate was sagging. I have a buddy who owns a welder and I was wondering what type of sheet metal I should buy. I would prefer steel and I'm making a plate bumper. Thanks

Mild steel of any thickness you desire, probably around 1/8" or 3/16" would work for most of it.
