Lookin at running a 235/75/15 tire and the wheels im lookin at are 15x8 w/ 4" BS. I should be OK right?
its a w/ 98 2wd stock suspension

its a w/ 98 2wd stock suspension
not sure about the backspacing:icon_confused:but i would double check tire size for that rim, i had that tire size on a fullsize chevy w/stock 15x7 rims and they looked pretty good for being stock wheels. with 15x8 rims you might have a little extra side wall bulge, which if you plan on doing any trails might not give your sidewalls enough flex as they are already extended. if you keep it on the street you might not have any problems:icon_hornsup:

Are the stock Ranger 15" wheels 6.5"/ 7"?

So theyll be more bulge witha wider wheel?
I thought the wider wheel would help reduce it.

I think an 8" rim is really too wide to look good, or function well, with a 235 tire. Steel 15" Ranger wheels are 6" wide, most of the 15" aluminum wheels are 7" wide.

Alright cool, so go with a 7" wheel w/ the 235/75/15s and I should be good?
