rear speaker wiring

i got new rear speakers for my truck and was wondering how to wire them since the stock speakers have a connector.

The speakers you bought should have come with a little strand of new wiring. Just cut the wire close to the connector. Then match the new striped wire with the old and the same for the solid wire (it doesn't really matter but I did mine this way). Then hook the negative wire (I believe it's the striped one) with the smaller terminal/hook thing of the speaker. Do the same for the other side.

I hope this helps. I did this in my ranger and everything worked out great but don't quote me on any of this.
