I am thinking about installing a single in dual out flowmaster on my 08 ranger 3.0 real wheel drive, is there any advantage to this other than the s.s. tips out the back for looks?

Maybe a small increase in preformance (fuel economy), but mostly looks with the 3.0.

it will sound good you might have a little more throttle response but you probably wont notice any gains. if i were you i would look into the thrush welded. they are the same as the flow 40 and are half the price. here is a vid of one sounds pretty good imo.
