In my country/province vehicles that are over 20 years old do not need to be etested. SICK! So I was thinking my 86 right now needs a little TLC. I would have to sandblast the frame, A LOT of body work, front core support...basically it would be close to a frame off restoration. I am not driving it now as I am going to school so a restoration is not a problem. BUT my first car was a Gen 2 Ranger. They are coming up on etest limits. I think it would be cool to get a 2ND gen looking like my old truck but with a nice power plant (big block) and such.

So should I restore the first gen I have or start looking for a 2nd gen to start?

I really do appreciate opinions.
