No updates at this time other than someone tried to steal it and busted my ignition. :annoyed: I'm still broke from my wedding last month. hopefuly i'll make some progress in the next couple months.

Clip the hot wire going to the fuel pump and install a hidden switch that you can easily flip, that way if some punk does get it to where they can turn the engine over, it won't fire up.

I put a fake wire connector on the fender well that looks like the fuel pump plug, when I park the truck somewhere that I don't trust, I unplug it from the real socket, and plug it into the fake socket.

Well I've been given the green light to use my 95 explorer for what ever I want. 4.0 swap maybe? I have a few questions though.

1. i've already done a duraspark on my 2.8. will this cause me problems?

2. the explorer has a m50d with electric t case. will my b2 manual t case fit on it?

3. it's a 95. i know most people use 91-94. are there any differences that will cause me trouble?

Well I'm changing directions. I will no longer be swapping in the 4.0 because I decided to trade it in on a new car for my wife. What's comming is chevy TBI from a 92 2.8L S10 Blazer. Me and Cammeddrz went to the JY saturday and got the thottle body, computer, and harness.

Thanks man! I like the look of yours too! Do you have a build thread?
my thread is in my sig. i messed with my photobucket and screwed my thread up. ill have to start a new one. im currently gathering parts for my sas so hopefully i can get mine back on track. the junk yards around me dont have anything that i need and craigslist there hasnt been much. it sucks but i got the engine done and in and i gutted the interior to change the burgandy to black. its been awhile since ive been able to get out and work on it. hopefully i can get into the garage this summer to start cutting and welding.

good luck with the nw direction. ill keep watching to see how it goes.
