I've been wanting to upgrade my brakes for the track for a while now. With the brakes floored I find that I've been walking through them on the line when stalling around 2100 rpm, and then when I slow down from the 90mph run the whole truck sorta shakes. That's not the question though.

Browsing for slotted brakes, I've been seeing quite a range in rotor diameter (from 10.22 to 11.28) My truck is a 2wd so I realize it would probably have smaller rotors that a 4wd stock, but would it be possible to put the larger rotors on a 2wd 2001 xlt? I checked the tech library, but the info on there seems to be for earlier rangers.

4x4 and 4x2 rotors are completely different. 2wd rotors have the the 'hub' that the wheel bearings go into machined into it. The 4wd rotors do not and simply slip over the 4x4 unit bearing.
