Seat recline I have a 2002 Ford Ranger and the driver seat doesn’t recline all the way back; is there a way to modify the seat so it does?

Single Cab or Extra Cab. I don't think the Single cab seats go back as far as the Ex-Cab or Explorer seats. That being said, check for rusty hinges and stuff down where the seat articulates. Maybe something just needs to be knocked loose.

It’s an extra cab I think it’s already adjusted as far as it go’s, it just doesn’t recline all the way back, down

If they're the original seats in the super cab they should lay back.

pull the side cover and have a look in there.

I think the OP is wanting the seat back to lay flat. They don't go that far. I think the only modification you can do for that is buy another seat that is designed to lay flat. Then figure out a way to install it.

Mine's a single cab, and the seat back is against the rear window. I'm 6'2", so it's back as far as it will go.

I guess i meant to say "recline" instead of " go back"

Mine is both, reclined to an angle I like, and pushed all the way back until the top of the seat hits the rear window.
