But it's just the tranny, and no donor, so my question is this:

What should I look for from the J-yard this weekend?

I know pedal assembly is a no brainer
Starter better new or used?
ECU obviously used
Mstr and Slve shoudl I go new or not, Rockauto has the "kit" for 219 with the lines etc..

I'll be loooking for hte mounting stuff, what else should I grab from the donor?

I'm ordering an Exedy Flywheel and clutch setup currently - might be able to squeeze the Mstr and Slve setup on there as well, but rest I'll be tight money wise on.

Timeframe is simple - I'm going to be doing this in the evenings as soon as I get the parts, I put them in type of thing, Also is the M5R1 length the same as the A4LD or will I need to grab those driveshafts?

I reused the starter out of the '92 exploder I pulled my donor from. No problems yet. Oh wait...the dang fuel pump is dead...grr

The master is cheap enough not to go used.

ABSOLUTELY NEVER(!!!) re-use a slave cylinder. New only! The blasted things fail enough as it is, might as well buy a new one and get a few miles out of it rather than have to drop the transmission in two weeks.

That rockauto kit with the slave/master/line was around $195 at Advance Auto about a month ago. I know it's odd for them to be cheaper than rockauto but...yeah. This is a good route to go as you also get a new clutch line :)

Good luck and have fun!
