Starting Issue

Good morning! This is my first post although I have spent countless hours reading through very helpful information! Appreciate all y’all do! I have a 92 Ranger that I swapped a V8 carbed 302 and I went to start it yesterday but I have nothing. Starter won’t even try to engage like it’s not getting power. Has a brand new battery and have all grounds wired up. What am I missing!!? It’s a 5 speed manual out of a 98 F150 and checked the clutch position sensor and good there and plugged in. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Pics of the build

Well first post at TRS

1992 won't have a separate fuse for START like later years did
It sends 12volts from ignition switch in START position to the Clutch switch
Then out of clutch switch to the starter relay in the engine bay

ignition switch------clutch switch-----//---------------starter relay("S" post)

The starter relay(some call it starter solenoid) has a smaller post labelled with an "S", this post gets the 12volts from the ignition switch to activate this relay

MAKE SURE TRANSMISSION IS IN NEUTRAL!!!!!
Wheel blocked

Use a jumper wire from battery positive to the "S" post
Starter relay should "click" closed and starter motor should activate
If starter relay doesn't "click" replace it
If relay "clicks" but starter doesn't activate then starter or its wiring bad

If it does "click" then try the Key in START again, if no "click" then wiring from ignition switch thru clutch switch to starter relay is bad
