Hello all. Is there anyone out here that knows of where I can get a 90-92 Ranger Super 4x4 (engine bay) Steering Shaft? Aftermarket? New? Used? I cannot find much of anything about them and I need some help. Thank you!

Does yours have 2 rag joints? One under the plastic cover and one below the master cylinder? If so, you'd have to grind the rivets and replace the rag joint. Otherwise, check for a good used one at a wrecking yard. Here's a way to search. http://www.car-part.com/index.htm

Yes, two rag joints. Mine have wallowed out so badly that the holes need to be filled or something and re-drilled. I'll check the website. Thanks!

I'm certain I have a used one here, I just replaced a steering column
(to upgrade to tilt wheel) in one of my trucks.

I grinned my rivets flush then used a metal punch to pop the rivets out. I found replacment rag joints at my auto store.

In case any of you are wondering: http://www.borgeson.com/ Borgeson Universal Steering Components is the place I went to for my steering shaft replacement. Very reasonable and extremely polite. Just a FYI.
