this is my 91,w/a 2.9 5spd and 33s and a few pics of what it has become. i have suffered a home invasion and a few other natural disasters so i only have a few pics on my phone, none of the nearly 8 year build up and recovery from the 70mph roll over it suffered due to idiot drivers.

the build specs are as far as i can remeber,in this order(sorta)

351w w/rv cam (and built in lifter "tick"):icon_confused:
edelbrock intake,holley 600cfm carb
a.c.,ps,heater,cruise, remote oil filter (and a shoehorn to get it all in there)
alum.radiator dropped 3"moved 3" inside core support
electric fan

trans:
AOD 4spd (that wont come outa second):dunno:
ARTCARR shifter
np205 (cast iron case)
tubular trans mount

driveline:
single rear drive shaft

axles:
front d35/44 outers,456 gears, brass lockouts,5/5 1/2 pattern,Aussie locker(sas being built)
rear is 9" with a chrome cover installed,456 gears alloy shafts, detriot locker

lift:
front 6" skyjacker coils rancho rs9000 shocks
rear 6" superllift leaves rs9000 shocks

steering:
superrunner steering

tires:
35x12.50x15 cooper STT
2" spacers (to clear those wide bushwhackers)

body:
91 ex cab,4"bushwhacker cutouts, hydro hood lift, BII rear bumper and fuel tank, home made front bumper w/warn 8274,rock lights, access door to fuel pump in bed,

protection:
in cab roll cage,rock sliders

this is back in my garage as i try to locate lifter tick, but performs like a dream and without my build pics its hard to make a build thread or even remember all the mods ive made but trust me the list is long. maybe ill see it on TOTM one day. i hope you guys enjoy, and i encourage any feed back good or bad.

due! ive read your entire build thread, thats some pretty hefty work youve done there! nice rig! yes i squeezed a 351 in there because everyone does a 302 and warned me not to try this...CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! aside from the heater box and steering sector and exhaust manifold fitment, its a pretty nice fit. thanks for noticing my rig,i hope to have new wheeling pics as soon as i tie up a few loose ends

Haha thanks!

Nothing makes determination like someone telling you you can't right?
Did you end up keeping the heater box and all?

Good looking build man! What headers did you actually end up using? And what motor mounts and radiator did you use? I'm doing my 351 swap, I think I want to avoid the radiator you used haha

My credo
it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
that radiator fill will give you issues if you drive like i do off road.

why not a hose fill? i like the cheap summit radiators with the hose fill...very cost effective.

whats the deal with the lifters? new heads? you run roller rockers and measure wrong?

never had a problem blowing coolant in my face. but i run the hose high with the top out necks off the manifold usually as well.

your sure its lifter noise?

how did you measure check the pushrods? flat hydro setup i assume? that would drive me ape shit. one time i had a solid setup i was setting cold spec on, it was a 429 that was killing me. turned out i was supposed to use that spec warm and the spec sheet was misprinted.
