I've searched all the Ranger sites for installation & wiring info.

I've pretty much figured out the wiring, but I find nothin on installin the Sunroof style OHC into any year Ranger.

My 93 was missin the headliner when I bought it, so I installed one of these type of OHC's into it, but I'm not sure I done it right. Thinkin I installed the bracket backwards comparing it to the longer ones installation.

I would like to see one mounted, as in this pic, the longer ones are spaced 1/2" or so from the roof where they are screwed in:

The Sunroof OHC bracket doesn't have the step in it:

PLEASE post pics & info or link if anybody has done one.

If nobody has done one, then I guess I'm the first, and will post my results.

It looks right to me. Only thing from the pic is it looks like your bracket as for the sunglass type (looks long). Can you take a pic of you holding it up to the bracket.?

The long bracket is for the "Sunglasses/Garage Door Opener" cubby, this is the one for the Sunroof one:

As you can see, it doesn't have the step in it for the Explorer roof and is quite shorter.

Hmmmm................not to be a wizazz, but those pics look to be just like the ones I posted, EXCEPT that as I said, my bracket is different then the one for the sunglass holder type, and I did post a pic of my smaller bracket.

My 93 doesn't have a headliner in it at the moment and I have installed my OHC, but I don't believe its in the right spot since I don't have a headliner, that's why I started the thread, to see if anybody has done it & can show pics.

THANKS for the attempt tho!
