I think the TB is a different bolt pattern. The roller cams all have the same lift and duration up to 95

a bigger throttle body isn't going to give you more power, the head is still the limiting point, all a bigger throttle body will do is screw up the throttle curve

the throttle bodies from 94-95 5.0 mustangs can be installed on 2.3's. It is far from a bolt on installation, but it can be done. Also it is not going to be beneficial unless you have significant mods already done to drastically increase air flow through the engine. To install it you need to make (or buy:http://www.forced4.com/tbadapterkit.html)an adapter plate, or you can cut off the egr mount from the upper intake, drill 1 new hole in the 5.0 throttle body, and slightly enlarge the other 3 holes. The ranger upper intake needs majorly ported to match the 5.0 throttle body. Also the throttle cable will not work without modification. This mod makes the throttle almost too responsive imo, but that may depend on the application..... for most people this would be a major waste of time

my Subaru Justy has a huge throttle for it's tiny 1.2L I3 (yes, inline 3). I drive it 75 miles a day almost all of it at 70mph, that's at 1/3 throttle! It's drivable but way different than driving my truck or explorer that have bellcranks to make the throttle more linear (go look, it's there) and a more appropriately sized throttle

A note, turbo 2.3's have the same size throttle as a N/A, but the air is being forced through so it's different... even the 2.5's are the same size
